|Day 1:||Meet and assist at IKA airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon panoramic sightseeing. Overnight stay at the hotel|
|Day 2:||In the morning transfer from Tehran to “Kelardasht” and “Vandarbon” (2300 M) about 6 hours by comfort car. Overnight stay in shelter|
|Day 3:||Transfer to “Tnag e Galoo” (3200 M) by 4WD cars, and start trekking to “Hesarchal” (3700 M) about 3 hours. Overnight in Camp|
|Day 4:||Early morning start hiking to “Alam kooh” (4850 M) about 5-6 hours, back to camp. Overnight in Camp|
|Day 5:||Descend to “Tang e Galoo”, transfer by car to “Vandarbon” and Tehran. Overnight stay in hotel|
|Day 6:||Drive from Tehran to Plour and Goosfandsara (2900m). overnight in camp.|
|Day 7:||Climb till "Bargah-e-sevom" shelter (4200m) in about 4 hours. overnight in shelter.|
|Day 8:||Ascend till frozen waterfall -"Ābshār-e Yakhī"- (5000m) for acclimatizing and return to shelter. overnight in shelter.|
|Day 9:||Ascend to Damavand peak (5671m) in about 7 hours and descend to shelter. Overnight in shelter.|
|Day 10:||Descend back to “Goosfandsara” and Tehran. Overnight stay in hotel|
|Day 11:||According to flight time, transfer to airport|

How fit do I need to be for this Hike? Can people of my age do this Hike?
Everyone with good fitness and without any physical problems can do this Hike. Doing exercises like swimming, running, and tracking before arriving to Iran will help a lot.
The most important things to consider for a successful Damavand hike are right amount of walking and enough rest - at least two days of rest /acclimatization.
